Life without change is boring. Born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Meridian, MS, I’ve lived in all sections of our great country and traveled through most states, many on a motorcycle; I currently live in the Pacific Northwest.
Jobs include Vietnamese interpreter—Army Security Agency. Engineer&Plant Manager—Designed and manufactured, linear actuators used to operate the dinosaurs in the movie Jurassic Park, and on the Universal Park Earthquake attraction. Product Manager—created and edited advertising copy, brochures, and catalogs. Adjunct professor. Middle school teacher. Business manager for church & school.
Volunteer work: Former Boy Scoutmaster, Little League baseball coach, Babe Ruth baseball league president, Jaycee secretary, and Oregon Christian Writers treasurer.
Projects: Designed & built home. Rebuilt engines & restored cars & motorcycles. Built sailboat.
Hobbies: Hiking, fishing, golfing, motorcycling (2 cross-country trips), traveling, and writing
The Home that Frank Built - Four years from buying raw land until moving. Only contracted out finish work on concrete slabs, heating/cooling system, floor coverings, and hanging garage door.
